In Jammu and Kashmir, a state in northern India, there have been countless clamours between local muslim majority and hindu minority. The Government of India maintains tight security control over the region, affecting local people’s lives. Amid severe social and financial difficulties, many muslim women sink into extreme poverty. AAR Japan [Association for Aid and Relief, Japan] has been supporting such women through improving their traditional crafts skill.
