What We Do
AAR Japan supports
socially vulnerable groups,
including refugees,
disaster-affected individuals, and persons
with disabilities.
We focus on six areas of
work to provide emergency
assistance to
those in humanitarian crisis,
as well as long-term support to help them build
a better future.
Six Areas of Work
- Refugee Assistance We protect people who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflicts and disasters, and provide both emergency and long-term assistance. * Read More
- Mine Action We protect people from the dangers of landmines and unexploded ordnance that permanently and indiscriminately injure people after conflict and support those affected. Read More

Development We address the needs of persons with disabilities, who often face particular challenges, and support their economic, emotional, and social independence. Read More - Disaster Relief We provide emergency relief to those affected by natural disasters, and support them to build back their lives better. Read More

/ WASH We work to provide reliable information for the prevention of infectious diseases and improve unsanitary environment that can harm their lives. Read More -

Awareness Raising We work to raise awareness on global issues and advocate at international conferences. Read More
