Disaster Relief

From emergency relief
to reconstruction

Natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons, and droughts that occur
worldwide claim the lives of many people and destroy their livelihoods in an instant. The
people who suffer the most from these disasters are those who are socially vulnerable daily.

AAR Japan is the first to arrive at the scene of a disaster to provide emergency support. We
also provide reconstruction assistance to meet the needs that change over time.

Delivering what is needed in emergencies

After assessing the damage and needs in the immediate aftermath of a disaster, we quickly deliver food, water, clothing, tents, and other supplies. If it is difficult to work in the affected area, we will work through local organizations.

Recovery support

Overcoming Disasters to Create a Better Society

We provide reconstruction assistance to restore people's lives in various fields such as sanitation, education, and support for the disabled. We will continue to provide psychological care to those affected by the disaster and mid-to-long-term support to help people with disabilities return to their daily lives in facilities.
